MCC Edinburgh undertakes a variety of ministries, both as part of our church and community life, and also as part of our outreach within our wider community.

| Rev. Kerri Mesner |

Rev Kerri Mesner is the Senior Pastor at MCC Edinburgh. She grew up in British Colombia, Canada and for many years lived and worked in the United States. Before answering a call to the ministry Kerri was a professional actor and singer, often touring the United States as part of educational theatre projects. She has also worked as a community mediator and youth worker.
A committed queer activist, Kerri discovered Metropolitan Community Church through the social justice work of MCC New York. She joined the Church and ultimately, discerning a call to ordained ministry, entered ministry training leading to her ordination in 2002.

Kerri has ministered in New York, Vancouver and London and was called as Pastor of MCC Edinburgh in September 2005. Since coming to Edinburgh Kerri has taken MCC's message of love and liberation for all to the Scottish press, radio and television. She is part of the core team of the Scottish Executive's "Hearts and Minds" project - aimed at securing the place of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in the life of Scotland.
Kerri lives in Edinburgh with her two cats Vashti and Sylvia.

| Rev. Jake Tatton |

Rev Jake Tatton was born and bred in Edinburgh and grew up in an Evangelical Church of Scotland congregation on the east side of the City. After coming out as Queer while still at school, Jake has been an active member of Edinburgh's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community all of her adult life. For many years Jake worked with LGBT Youth Scotland supporting LGBT young people in the City.
Jake studied at New College; the Divinity School of Edinburgh University, graduating with a Bachelor of Divinity (Honours) Degree in 2006. Her studies included a year in Los Angeles, where she also completed a year of MCC Candidacy training. Jake was approved for ordination within MCC at Region 4 Regional Conference in Hanover in September 2006 and was ordained in Edinburgh on 11 November 2006.

Jake currently serves as, Associate Pastor: Communities and Outreach, at MCC Edinburgh.
A talented musician, Jake writes music, including spiritual music, and has produced CDs of her work. She lives in Edinburgh and works with NHS Lothian supporting patients with severe mental health problems into education, volunteering and work.
