Metropolitan Community Church of Edinburgh is a Christian Church that seeks to offer a safe and affirming space where all can worship God and explore their faith, irrespective of sexuality or gender identity.
As part of the international Metropolitan Community Churches movement, and founded in July 1995, MCC Edinburgh grew up within the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
The Senior Pastor is the Rev Kerri Mesner. The Rev Jake Tatton is Associate Pastor: Communities and Outreach.
Services are at 6pm every Sunday night, changing to 11am during the month of August. (MCC Edinburgh,

The worldwide denomination of Metropolitan Community Church was founded in October 1968, one year before the Stonewall Riots which gave birth to the modern LGBT liberation movement.
12 MCC congregations currently worship in the UK.
MCC has Churches and groups in Scotland, England, Germany, France, Denmark, the United States of America, Nicaragua, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, the Philippines, Venezuela, Argentina, Romania, South Africa, Nigeria, Russia, Uruguay, Mexico, Cuba and Brazil - around 300 in total.
MCC has Official Observer Status at the World Council of Churches.
